On this gravity dam, the main fixed labyrinth spillway has been operated in conjunction with fusegates on the auxiliary spillway.
This unique approach has made it possible to increase the storage capacity of the reservoir by 19%, as well as improving the safety and operation of the spillway system as a whole.
